Abstract
A Vibrio parahaemolyticus food poisoning outbreak occurred at a wedding banquet in a large-scale hotel in Nanchang, Jiangxi, contaminated Yuan Bao Kou Ti Hua (hog hoof fried with dumplings) the culprit.A total of 190 cases were present, the attack rate being 14.3% and the mean incubation period 14.9 h.Yuan Bao Kou Ti Hua at the wedding banquet was the only risk factor in this food poisoning event.
